Indications

A- Hypertension: Spironolactone can be used to treat high blood pressure especially when other medications are not sufficient.

B- Heart failure: Spironolactone can be used for Heart failure as it helps reducing fluid retention as well as other symptoms of Heart failure such as shortness of breath.

C- Edema: Spironolactone can treat Edema since it increases urine output and reduces fluid accumulation.

D- Primary hyperaldosteronism: Spironolactone blocks the effect of Aldosterone which will normalize the potassium levels.
