Indications
A- Erectile Dysfunction (ED): Tadalafil is primarily prescribed to men who have difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse. It is a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor, which works by increasing blood flow to the penis when a man is sexually aroused, thereby facilitating the achievement and maintenance of an erection.
B- Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): Tadalafil is approved for the treatment of BPH, a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland that can lead to urinary symptoms such as frequent urination, difficulty in starting and maintaining urination, and weak urine flow. Tadalafil helps relax the smooth muscles in the prostate and bladder, leading to improved urinary symptoms.
